Owner & Tax Partner

Michelle Luevane is a Colorado-licensed CPA with a Master’s degree in Taxation from the University of Denver and a Certified Tax Coach at the highest level. Known for her analytical mindset and deep tax expertise, Michelle specializes in helping business owners and real estate investors make confident, financially sound decisions.



Her background includes extensive experience working with buyers, sellers, and real estate investors, where strategic planning plays a critical role. Michelle is a proud DU alum and an active member of the AICPA, COCPA, and PASBA, reflecting her ongoing commitment to professional excellence.

Cora Solem

Firm Administrator

With over 20 years of experience in tax and accounting support, Cora brings exceptional organization and operational leadership to Synergy CPA Group. She holds a degree in Computer Science from CSU and applies her detail-oriented approach to keep firm operations running smoothly.



Outside the office, Cora enjoys CrossFit, outdoor adventures, and spending time with her family, including her German Shepherd rescue, Zoey.

Diana Hollister

Director of Business Development

Diana has spent more than 15 years building relationships across the Denver business community. She is passionate about helping business owners stay proactive with their tax strategies and make informed financial decisions.

A devoted dog rescuer and proud mom and grandmother, Diana enjoys traveling, writing, painting, and exploring great food and wine when she’s not connecting with clients.

Karen Caston

Junior Bookkeeper

Karen has lived and worked in the Denver area for over 30 years and brings a strong background in customer service, consultative sales, and training.

In her free time, Karen enjoys genealogy research, travel, learning new things, and spending time with her family and dogs.

Jesse Jones

Tax Accountant

Jesse earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from Colorado State University Pueblo and has since built a solid foundation in tax preparation. His attention to detail and commitment to helping clients navigate the complexities of their taxes are what drive him in his work. Outside of the office, Jesse has a deep love for history, often reading books that explore different eras and events. He’s also an outdoor enthusiast who finds peace in hiking mountain trails. On quieter days, Jesse unwinds by playing the piano, a hobby that allows him to find balance in his busy life.

Deborah Williams

Accounting Manager

Deborah (Debbie) Williams is a highly experienced Accounting Manager with over 40 years in the field. She brings deep expertise in financial reporting, process improvement, and team leadership, with a strong passion for helping small businesses thrive. As a licensed General Contractor, Debbie has successfully built and supported multiple construction businesses, giving her unique insight into the challenges and opportunities faced by small business owners. Her drive to simplify accounting operations, improve financial clarity, and mentor high-performing teams led her to join Synergy CPA Group. Outside of work, Debbie enjoys spending time with her family, close friends, and the occasional foster pup that wins her heart.

Samantha Hollister

Administrative Staff

Sammy is part of the admin team at Synergy CPA Group. She is continuing her education in tax preparation and payroll services. Sam brings warmth and approachability to the team. Known for her positive spirit, she keeps things organized behind the scenes and is always ready to help where needed. She is a dedicated mom of two who enjoys being outside, going to the beach, going to concerts and spending time with loved ones.

Zorro

Chief Morale Officer

Zorro is Synergy CPA Group's Chief Morale Officer, bringing positivity, encouragement, and the occasional tail wag to every workday. While the accountants focus on tax strategy and financial planning, Zorro focuses on creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients and keeping the team energized throughout the year.



His areas of expertise include greeting visitors, supervising snack breaks, boosting office morale, and ensuring no tennis ball goes unfetched. His commitment to making people feel comfortable has earned him the unofficial title of the office's most valuable team member.
